True Church DefinedThose who have accepted the free gift of God’s son, Yeshua the Christ, through a sincere plea of the will to repent (turn away from) the sin nature you were born with; then to call out and invite in Christ Yeshua as Lord & Savior for their life.
At that moment is when one becomes “born again” into the Spiritual family of God; and the Holy Spirit can indwell within that new creation. (see John 3:1-7 where Yeshua explains to one of the leading legalistic followers of Judaism, Nicodemis; who was, as a leading senator is today, instrumental to create an additional 613 fencing laws for Judaism to help the people of the old Testament to keep the ten commandments; and said that even he, “must be born again to enter the Kingdom of God (KOG). Unifying the true church with God’s Love 4 Us: 12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. A believer needs to realize that the conflict you may be having with your spouse or children is not a fight between two people, but rather you are both fighting a spirit of destruction rooted in Satan. The best way to overcome this battle is for the one “closer” to Christ to show unconditional love to the weaker one i.e. the weaker one is defined not in the flesh but rather one who has not totally surrendered their self to Christ Yeshua and allowed Him to flow through the Holy Spirit, into and becoming one in their Spirit, renewing their mind to that truth, so it is ultimately acted out in the flesh, to empower them to give His unconditional love to their spouse and others. The courage it takes to let oneself go is extraordinary, but necessary, in order to (IOT) show the unconditional love that God shows us. This is what heals the broken hearted caused by the accumulation of baggage over a lifetime. Let no man separate what God has joined together. This means if God has lead you to marry your spouse, do not allow any man or woman to divide you. Now, on the other hand, if the unbelieving spouse leaves, allow them to leave so that you may live in peace and be more useful to the KOG (Kingdom Of God). It may be that when the unbelieving spouse separates, he or she will be humbled to the degree necessary for them to repent and “come to “Yeshua”; and that my precious brother in Christ (briC) or sister in Christ, is better for all involved. Rest in the finished work of Yeshua and allow Him to move in your marriage! I heard a good quote the other day: “everyone has baggage; find someone who loves you enough to help you unpack”; that “someone” is Christ Yeshua alone; He is the Leader to heal our relationships! But if the husband or wife who isn’t a believer insists on leaving, let them go. In such cases the Christian husband or wife is no longer bound to the other, for God has called you to live in peace. 1 Corinthians 7:15 (NLT) “What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.” Mark 10:9 (NASB) “Marriage should be honored by all, and husbands and wives must be faithful to each other.” Hebrews 13:4 By God’s New Covenant Mercy, (Him not giving us what we deserve) we can always repent back toward a pathway of purity. “O Loving and Kind God, have mercy… take away the awful stain of transgressions… cleanse me from this guilt … for i admit my shameful deed; it haunts me day and night. It is against you that i have sinned…” Psalm 51:1-4 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 See Ezekiel Chapter 16: 1-63 to put your own marriage difficulties into a relatable perspective on what our Father in heaven went through but yet still maintains a covenant. |
Discipleship Scriptures, Revelation of Scripture and Holy Spirit InspirationsWhen you are not manifesting the Fruit of the Spirit i.e. you are not able to Love unconditionally the way God Loves you, when you don’t feel the Joy outpouring from the unlimited Spirit within you, when the Peace of God is not present, when Patience doesn’t feel like you have eternity to wait, when Kindness isn’t easy to project to others, when Goodness isn’t a natural act, when Faithfulness to your spouse or to others is challenging, when Gentleness is not the way you role, and when addictions take over your flesh i.e. lacking Self Control, then constantly repeat in your mind “i thank you Lord for giving me Love, Joy, or whatever it is you may be lacking in manifestation from the Spirit within you, which has unlimited, overflowing, constantly provided amounts of all these 9 fruit. “Communicate in faith that you already have these fruit from the moment you were born again.” See Philemon 1:6
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. WHY WE FEEL PAINThroughout our lives we will all experience pain. Physical pain, mental pain, emotional pain, etc. The good news is, despite the type and intensity of the pain, all pain has a purpose.
Think About It In every way we experience pain, pains purpose is to make us aware that something is wrong that needs to be addressed. It could be an injured body part telling us to slow down before it gets worse, an overwhelmed mind telling us to get rid of the noise in our lives and rest before we have a meltdown, or a broken heart telling us to talk through our problems to restore fellowship with those we love. Despite what the specific type of pain is, all pain lets us know that we need help in a specific area. Sometimes the help we need can be self-administered like wrapping our knee or pulling a splinter. Sometimes the help we need can be found in the strength of others like going to a friend for Godly counsel, comfort, and advice. And frankly, some of the help we need can only be healed through Christ like when we experience life changing events that only He can control like the death of a loved one or serious medical diagnosis. In all of these moments though, especially the ones that seem the hardest, the pain we feel typically turns out to be the sweetest blessings in the end. You see, when we realize how helpless we all truly are and run to our loving Father and ask Him for help, it is in His open arms that we find true Comfort, Love, and sometimes the answers we seek. Notice I said sometimes. While we all want answers now typically, it is not uncommon for us to have to wait. Sometimes we don’t get the answers we seek right away because we are not ready, but rest assured, Gods ways are always perfect and He will gives us Comfort and Peace in the meantime. And whether it be in this life or the next (eternity), all the answers we seek will someday soon be revealed- completely, and perfectly. Shaking Your Head? Knowing that some of you right now are reading this article are in GREAT pain, I promise you, it’s true. You can have comfort and peace even now in this moment despite circumstance. GOD REALLY DOES LOVE YOU AND CARE. Today, you and I have no idea of the pain the other might be going through. The intensity of it, the seemingly hopelessness of it, the isolation it brings. Sometimes we hurt so badly there appears to be nothing we can do (been there; bought the postcard). However, in these circumstances especially, we must accept the truth that this is not the case. I promise you that. And my promise isn’t from an academical source, theoretical source, or even a second-hand source. My promise to you is from first-hand experience, and more importantly God’s word. You see right now as I type this article for you, I’m in great pain- physically and emotionally. My jaw and teeth are lit up with chronic physical pain so great it is radiating behind my eye and distracting me (Trigeminal neuralgia since 2005) and my heart is heavy because of the recent news of my fathers cancer and bleak prognosis. So Why Am I Telling You All This? I’m not telling you this for some wine & cheese, to share a sob story for attention, or to have you feel bad for me. I’m only opening up to you and sharing some of my personal experiences with you so you can see that I truly do care and have experienced at least some of what you are facing. More importantly, I have also experienced the healing that goes along with each. Remember, we can all be healed. Maybe not always physically or the way we planned or think we want, but healed on the inside where it counts. A healing that can’t ever be bought, transferred, or explained, it just is. Again, so you know I am speaking from personal experience and not just thin air, here’s a quick list of some other painful things that God has seen fit to bring me through. While I am sure there are many more examples in both of our lives, can you relate to any of these?
Now while we could all go on to list literally hundreds and thousands of pain areas that we face, emotional more so than even physical, let’s get to the good news- All Pain has a Purpose. That’s right, it really does. So if you are experiencing pain right now of any sort, as hard and impossible as it may seem, here is quick list of some of the Truths that got me through these challenging times, and will get me through many more. Now, whether you believe in God or not, understand these truths still hold completely true. God is there for you too. You just need to acknowledge Him and ask for His help. And beyond our flesh, it all starts with our soul (Romans 10:13). Truths to Help You Through the “Hard Times” and the “Good”: God loves me. This isn’t just a phrase to put on postcards and t-shirts, God really loves you. He knows what you are going through, and for whatever reason is allowing it will ultimately benefit you if you Trust Him. Just like a Good father loves his child and would die for them, Christ not only would die for you, but has died for you already (John 3:16). God is always Good. Even when we don’t understand it, there is a plan, and a perfect one at that. Whether we see it or not, as a believer, God is always there by our side. Our perception of a situation as ‘good’ or ‘bad’ doesn’t make it so. God is only Good. Hence, when we follow Him, all things work together for Good to those who love God (Isaiah 55:8 and Romans 8:28) God is not a vindictive God. This one really helped me when I was in literal physical pain each day so intense that I wasn’t praying for God to help me through the day anymore, but through the hour. You see, for a long time I thought that all the pain I was experiencing was some form of punishment. WRONG! I mean yes, we do need to examine ourselves and confess and forsake sin, but God is not a vindictive God. He is not going to torment us. Correct us yes, but torment us, never. All through the bible when people chose to sin against God and would not repent, God killed them immediately. Not in an irrational or bitter anger, but in a just way. The day I realized that God is keeping me alive and allowing me to experience this for greater things we a truly transformation day and filled with peace. (2 Corinthians 13:5) There are no accidents. Everything that happens to us either has been allowed by God (like In Job) or caused by God. Again, not for our hurt, but because we or someone we love somehow needs it. There are no accidents, coincidences, or “unlucky” breaks (Psalm 37:23), There is something I can learn from this. Along the same lines, know that whatever you are going through today, or have gone through in the past, is only preparing you for the future. Exactly what you are facing is in God’s perfect plan to help you, others, or both GREATLY down the road (Romans 8:28) God’s not done with me yet. That’s right baby! God has a special and distinct plan for you, and me. He uniquely created us for a purpose, and our purpose obviously isn’t complete yet because we are still here. So if you really want to go home and get this life over with, make sure you are looking, listening, and living in a way that takes advantage of ever opportunity God gives you. You may be surprised how He uses you to Glorify Him and help others in a way you never imagined. Plus, did you ever notice how when we are helping others our pains and problems get better if not completely go away? (Colossians 4:17) I Can Beat This Through Christ! Forget what the doctors, your family, and outsiders say. They may care and truly believe what they are saying, but through prayer and the Holy Spirit you have a direct connection to God- use it! And remember, if your still around, He’s saying you’re not ready yet. Two verses that always comforted and inspired me to keep fighting were Luke 1:37 and Philippians 4:13. Look them up, print them out, and paste them where you will see them everyday. God’s not through with you yet; don’t quit! Never Quit!! Leading us to the last point of the day. As Winston Churchill said in his famous speech, “Never, Never, Never Quit.” Now I have to be honest, there were many times that things were so bad that I actually thought it would be better to die, but what kept me going were the above principles and knowing that I was still on earth for a reason. If that was the case, and it was, it would be wrong to take my own life. It would dishonor God, send a lousy example to my kids that it’s ok to make decisions that only God should, tell them it’s ok to quit something before the time, and keep me from fulfilling the perfect and beautiful destiny God had for me. Now being on the other side, please here these words as someone has been there, if you are ready to quit, press on! He will give you the strength you need to endure each day. And remember, you don’t need to worry about the big picture, just focus on today. And strange as this may sound to some, many of you will find comfort in this fact. Our lives will only last about 72 years statistically. Some longer, some less. So worst care scenario, even though it feels like an eternity, it’s not. We can only suffer for a limited time on this earth and then we have the rest fo eternity to rejoice- no pain, no sorrow, no more tears! Islamic Religion v. Christ Centered Relationship with Father God AlmightyIslam says they pray to the God of Abraham but ” no one comes to the Father but by Christ” (BIBLE Ref. John 14:6) If no one comes to Father God Almighty but through Christ, which is the truth made known to all man by way of God’s Word, then all other faiths are dead and useless for anything other than temporal!
Islamic religion, according to my friend Hakan, an Islamic scholar, says that if an Islamic follower says that he is going to heaven, it is considered a sin. This may be a “truth” believed within the Islamic faith that would have all Islamic believers contained into darkness until their death, a deception of Satan so vast it would swallow approx. 1/7th of the world’s population, based on the current approximate stats at the time of this posting, of 1 billion Islamics to a world population of 7 billion. Many confirmations to answered prayer can be found by Islamic believers and other faiths for that matter. Satan has power on earth (See 2 Corinthians 4:4) to convince the lost that their prayers are being answered by God when actually it is Satan confirming their faith in Satan without them knowing or realizing; this is called deception and is why it so dangerous. The sad and disturbing sense I get because I know the truth, as my faith has become knowledge over the past 36 years is that followers of every other faith are being deceived into believing they are praying to God. One of the issues that many Islamic followers suffer from is the misnomer that Yeshua never said He was the Messiah. Another lie to those being deceived by the powers of Satan to rule in the hearts of the dark or lost people. See John 4:26 “I am the Messiah.” See also John 14:6,7 Yeshua said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him”. John 14:6,7 in this verse Yeshua The Messiah (Yeshua Ha’ Messiach) tells us that we are witnessing Father God in the flesh and it is His nature that Yeshua The Christ displays during His ministry. Yeshua’s name is also “The Word of God”; in John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1 states this to let us know that Yeshua The Messiah is God and before He became flesh, He was and always existed with God as a part of the Holy Trinity (Elohim). God knew that it would take a human sacrifice unblemished by sin to restore the relationship and authority He originally gave to humans in the garden where the devil’s deception ran deep. Father God loves us perfectly and will always do for us what we can’t do while maintaining both His free will and our free will that He gave us so lovingly, unsparingly and uncontrolingly. I have come to find that God honors the free will He has given us and only wants people to love Him who willing want to love Him!… No one comes to the Father but by Christ! Important Notes: 1. Elohim – Hebrew for the Holy Trinity as One. The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit = Elohim im = plural as in three; the trinity Elohim does not include the Islamic Religious god of Allah. 2. The Hand of God Red Wine StoryThis is my story. After years of enjoying and studying wine i came to greatly appreciate the care and patience it takes to develop world renowned and desirable red and white wine. unfortunately I have also experienced, within my extended family, the results of indulging too much which caused years of destructive behavior effecting the function of my immediate family. So I stopped drinking, even socially, for the past few years when in the presence of my family. i also asked God what to do about me and my appreciation with fine wines and brandies.
i said to God, whom I know personally, because of and through Christ Jesus, who is my Lord and Savior! “i will leave this entire subject of fine wine, brandy, and alcohol in general, and its impact for me personally, in your hands, and i will commit to abstain, unless you arrange that i would receive it for free”. So about 7-10 days later i was walking in the Cordova Mall, located locally here in Pensacola, FL and I saw a sign that said “free wine tasting”. with my curiosity at peak level, i walked in and said i would like to taste one or two of the wines they were presenting that day. as i looked, smelled and sipped the first wine, I found it to be “top vine” or better described as “old vine” which was impeccable. i then went onto the second free offer and it was better than the first; of course my next question was ” what is the name of those two fabulous wines?” in God’s loving ways and in His humor; the name for both was “Hand of God”! i felt as if God had poured it for me personally by His Hand, and have since been telling this true story, to a few of my closest friends in the hopes that any of them would buy me a bottle of either! enjoy the blessings! |
